This introduction course is aimed at those involved in the administration of international trade to ensure an understanding of rules of origin, product classification and item valuation to meet the demands of international trade in both exporting and importing. Understanding origin, tariffs and valuation is essential for correct calculation of taxation and duties, and mistakes leading to non-payment or underpayment are considered a serious matter by HMRC. They also lead to duty reliefs, so getting this right could save you money.

On Monday 1 June, the UK, European Union, Norway and Switzerland launched digital ATA Carnets, marking a significant milestone in the modernisation of international customs procedures. The digitisation of ATA Carnets and their lifecycle management will make temporary importation of goods across borders simpler, more secure, and more efficient for ATA Carnet Holders.

To support your transition from traditional paper ATA Carnets, we are pleased to introduce our new online Digital ATA Carnets Step-by-Step training course. This practical course will guide you through every state of processing and using digital carnets, helping you navigate the new system with confidence and ease.

The course is particularly beneficial for companies/sole traders moving goods temporarily to the EU, Switzerland, and Norway.
