As the world's fourth most populous country with 255 million people, including the fastest growing middle class with three - five million more Indonesians becoming affluent each year. Indonesia is ASEAN's powerhouse economy. Economic growth was 5.04% in Q4 2015, it is politically sound; it is the only permanent ASEAN member of the G20 and well positioned to influence global and regional initiatives.

Following the Prime Minister's visit to Indonesia last year, the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo and a high-level delegation will be visiting the UK in April. The President will be addressing the UK-Indonesian Business Forum on Wednesday 20 April 2016. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the market ahead of this trade mission.
