The London Chamber of Commerce award-winning events programme includes over 200 events each year and caters for every person and business.   Whether you are looking for training, networking, briefings on topical issues, or want to entertain clients, we have an event for you and your business.  Many events  are exclusive to members, many are free to members or are offered at significantly discounted rates, and all include the opportunity for networking.

 How to book your place(s) at a London Chamber of Commerce event

  • Select the events you want to attend from the events calendar below
  • For ticket fee events use our online booking facility or complete a booking form and fax or post it to us with your payment. All prices are inclusive of VAT and full payment must be received to secure bookings
  • For free events book by following the instructions under each event entry in the calendar below
  • Bookings for all events are taken on a first-come first-served basis
  • You must pre-book your place at all London Chamber of Commerce events (both complimentary and ticket fee events)
  • NB: our online booking system is unable to accept payment via AMEX.  Payment via AMEX can be made by completing an event booking form including your card details and sending to the Events Team.  This will be processed manually by London Chamber of Commerce

DELIVERING FOR CITIES AT LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE


This year London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is co-hosting events at the Labour Party Conference with the Freight Transport Association (FTA).
 
The events Delivering for cities: meeting the challenges of a 24/7 economy, will examine how the UK's cities can stay competitive by ensuring freight in all its forms - the lifeblood of our city economies - can meet the needs of businesses and residents, whilst addressing political and social concerns about congestion, emissions and road safety.

Speakers include:

  • Colin Stanbridge, Chief Executive, LCCI
  • Christopher Snelling, Head of National & Regional Policy and Public Affairs, FTA
  • Andy McDonald MP, Shadow Transport Secretary
  • A major UK retailer

    The event will be chaired by Christian Wolmar, an award-wining transport writer and broadcaster.

    EUROPEAN COMPANY MISSION TO INDIA


    UK companies are invited to join businesses from EU countries to explore the growing business opportunities in India. India is experiencing positive economic growth, with the World Bank forecasting that India will grow by 7% in 2016.

    The mission will include pre-arranged business-to-business meetings in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi (tbc) organised by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). As well as networking reception and client hospitality with locally invited businesses in Mumbai, hosted by the Bombay Stock Exchange.

    INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRAINING: LETTERS OF CREDIT


    A one-day practical workshop aimed at exporting companies which regularly receive or handle Letters of Credit (L/Cs). The session will assist companies to negotiate the most favourable terms for L/Cs, as well as to reduce the risks and costs associated with presenting documents to the bank.

    On completing the course, delegates will know how to select the best terms of payment and how best to achieve them.  They will also be aware of the cost and cash flow implications of different methods of payment.
