The London Chamber of Commerce award-winning events programme includes over 200 events each year and caters for every person and business.   Whether you are looking for training, networking, briefings on topical issues, or want to entertain clients, we have an event for you and your business.  Many events  are exclusive to members, many are free to members or are offered at significantly discounted rates, and all include the opportunity for networking.

 How to book your place(s) at a London Chamber of Commerce event

  • Select the events you want to attend from the events calendar below
  • For ticket fee events use our online booking facility or complete a booking form and fax or post it to us with your payment. All prices are inclusive of VAT and full payment must be received to secure bookings
  • For free events book by following the instructions under each event entry in the calendar below
  • Bookings for all events are taken on a first-come first-served basis
  • You must pre-book your place at all London Chamber of Commerce events (both complimentary and ticket fee events)
  • NB: our online booking system is unable to accept payment via AMEX.  Payment via AMEX can be made by completing an event booking form including your card details and sending to the Events Team.  This will be processed manually by London Chamber of Commerce

ASIAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (ABA) DINNER


The ABA Dinner is the premier gathering in the Asian business calendar, bringing together guests from a range of industries and is open to Asian and non-Asian businesses.  This year's dinner will take place on Tuesday 25 April at a prestigious central London location and we are delighted to welcome Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP as our guest speaker.

Dr Fox is responsible for UK plans to deliver new trade and investment policies to promote UK business across the globe as well as to negotiate free trade agreements and market access deals. These will be crucial in the Indian subcontinent region and it was significant that India was the destination for Theresa May's first trade mission as Prime Minister last November, on which she was accompanied by the Secretary of State.  UK trade development in the run-up to and post-Brexit could not be more important and this will be a timely opportunity to get Dr Fox's views on, and plans for, the challenges and opportunities that face the vibrant British trading community.

Up to 400 guests will attend this prestigious evening to rub shoulders with key figures from business, central and local government, arts and media, high commissioners, life peers and top Asian entrepreneurs.  The occasion provides a perfect and unique way to entertain colleagues or clients. Tables of ten are available as well as individual places.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRAINING: RULES OF ORIGIN / CUSTOMS PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION


This one-day course is split in two distinct sessions. The morning session examines in detail the procedures required to deal with customs import and the implications of duty relief schemes to ensure that businesses trading globally can work efficiently and economically. The afternoon session explores in greater depth the current Rules of Origin, Preferential Trade Agreements and how to establish where goods originate "officially". The internal factors to support originate declarations are also covered; something of key importance for importers and exporters alike.

The course is ideally suited for all staff working in import/export administration, international sales, accountancy, and shipping and logistics. It is designed for people new to international business but also for experienced company staff who may want to refresh their knowledge.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING


Join LCCI at the renowned Holland and Holland Shooting Grounds for an exciting day of clay pigeon shooting. Starting with breakfast and safety briefings guests will be split into teams to receive instruction and practice on a variety of sporting stands. After a short break there will be individual and team fun shooting competitions, with team flushes to finish. A three course lunch will then follow.  The event can be enjoyed by both novice and experienced guests together, and with expert advice on hand at all times, it's the perfect way to network and entertain guests in an informal setting.

EUROPEAN COMPANY MISSION TO TAIWAN


UK companies are invited to join businesses from EU countries to explore the growing business opportunities in Taiwan. The food and drinks sector is the fifth largest industry in Taiwan and one of the market's fastest growing sectors. Local supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores are increasing their ranges of imported foods to meet demand.

Companies joining the mission will receive a subsidy towards their accommodation and have the opportunities to visit the following Trade Shows: Food Taipei, Foodtech & Pharmatech Taipei, visit to Taipei Pack, Taiwan Horeca and Halal Taiwan.

This European Company Mission is part of the EAGLE TWO project which has received funding from the European Union's COSME Programme (2014-2020).

SUMMER PARTY


By kind permission of the Dean & Chapter of Westminster, LCCI is delighted to announce that our 2017 Summer Party will be held in the College Garden at Westminster Abbey - a  900 year old garden, which is believed to be the longest continually cultivated garden in England.
