The London Chamber of Commerce award-winning events programme includes over 200 events each year and caters for every person and business.   Whether you are looking for training, networking, briefings on topical issues, or want to entertain clients, we have an event for you and your business.  Many events  are exclusive to members, many are free to members or are offered at significantly discounted rates, and all include the opportunity for networking.

 How to book your place(s) at a London Chamber of Commerce event

  • Select the events you want to attend from the events calendar below
  • For ticket fee events use our online booking facility or complete a booking form and fax or post it to us with your payment. All prices are inclusive of VAT and full payment must be received to secure bookings
  • For free events book by following the instructions under each event entry in the calendar below
  • Bookings for all events are taken on a first-come first-served basis
  • You must pre-book your place at all London Chamber of Commerce events (both complimentary and ticket fee events)
  • NB: our online booking system is unable to accept payment via AMEX.  Payment via AMEX can be made by completing an event booking form including your card details and sending to the Events Team.  This will be processed manually by London Chamber of Commerce

DOING BUSINESS IN SOUTH KOREA


In 2016, South Korea was the world's eleventh largest economy by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), by Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) and it was the fourth largest in Asia. The South Korean economy will be the tenth largest contributor to world growth over the next five years, comparable to that of the UK and greater than France or Italy. ASIAN BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (ABA) DINNER


The ABA Dinner is the premier gathering in the Asian business calendar, bringing together guests from a range of industries and is open to Asian and non-Asian businesses.  This year's dinner will take place on Tuesday 25 April at a prestigious central London location and we are delighted to welcome Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP as our guest speaker.

Dr Fox is responsible for UK plans to deliver new trade and investment policies to promote UK business across the globe as well as to negotiate free trade agreements and market access deals. These will be crucial in the Indian subcontinent region and it was significant that India was the destination for Theresa May's first trade mission as Prime Minister last November, on which she was accompanied by the Secretary of State.  UK trade development in the run-up to and post-Brexit could not be more important and this will be a timely opportunity to get Dr Fox's views on, and plans for, the challenges and opportunities that face the vibrant British trading community.

The UN is a promising market for UK companies as the UN overall procurement volume (goods and services combined) of the various UN organisations is worth around £12 billion per year. UN procurement is suitable for small as well as larger companies because payment is guaranteed. THE FOURTH ANNUAL UK-NIGERIA SUMMIT: THE JOURNEY AHEAD


London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is pleased to be partnering with the Nigeria London Business Forum (NILOBF) for this summit. The event invites policymakers, business leaders, investors, exporters and finance professionals to reflect on Nigeria's economic journey as it enters a new phase of economic growth and prosperity. Nigeria has been leading the way as Africa's most lucrative economy.  Low inflation and a real effort by the Nigerian government to deal with corruption mean that Nigeria remains an attractive economy for UK investors.

 

This is one of the first events of 2017 in London to review Nigeria's regeneration agenda. The summit will address what needs to be done to invigorate the country to its advantage.

LONDON CITY AIRPORT EXPANSION PLANS AND THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EAST LONDON BUSINESSES


Last year, London City Airport received permission to expand from the UK Government. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS TRAINING: RULES OF ORIGIN / CUSTOMS PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION


This one-day course is split in two distinct sessions. The morning session examines in detail the procedures required to deal with customs import and the implications of duty relief schemes to ensure that businesses trading globally can work efficiently and economically. The afternoon session explores in greater depth the current Rules of Origin, Preferential Trade Agreements and how to establish where goods originate "officially". The internal factors to support originate declarations are also covered; something of key importance for importers and exporters alike.

CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING

INCOTERMS TRAINING COURSE


This course, organised by Enterprise Europe Network at London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), has been designed to help exporters understand Incoterms - International Commercial Terms - and how to select the correct one for their international transactions. These global shipping terms have huge importance for the exporting and importing of products around the globe. They outline the risk and responsibility between the buyer and the seller for each transaction.

The course will take you through all the aspects of understanding Incoterms 2010. Learning the terminology will help you to understand better how to cover the risks and responsibilities between the buyer and seller, their obligations to each other for the shipment, and the allocation of costs.
