LCCI trade missions provide an excellent opportunity for British exporters to explore business opportunities in international markets.
Mission delegates are introduced to key business contacts, distributors, agents, partners, buyers and sellers, and are briefed by government officials and business support organisations.
The global LCCI brand means that our missions attract and secure support from a network of international partners and commercial posts. Our range of in-market commercial briefings and British Ambassador-hosted networking receptions means your business will be connected to locally-vetted business contacts.
LCCI missions offer a range of profile-raising advantages including press releases, in-country press conferences and VIP mission leaders that have included Ken Clarke MP and Willie Walsh, CEO, International Airlines Group. Each delegate and their company's products and services are also advertised in the marketplace prior to the mission's arrival through a bespoke mission brochure. Our team of internationally experienced mission managers will take care of your travel and logistical needs, freeing up your time to concentrate on business.
LCCI, with the support of our partners, runs an average of eleven mission per year. Our annual programme changes with market demands and trends, and caters for most exporters in every sector. A typical year's programme will include visits to Brazil, China, Dubai, East Africa, Geneva, India, Mexico, Qatar, Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Our practical international trade seminars will keep your business informed about new business opportunities in key international markets and put you in touch with country experts, as well as providing time for networking.
Our programme of events covers a range of countries, from emerging markets to more established ones in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and South America. We held a total of 37 events last year alone, with over 1,000 participants from a large variety of different companies.
Our training courses are designed for businesses looking to develop staff skills in international trade procedures and promotion. Each course is led by an accredited trainer with international trade experience and the training course schedule includes International VAT, Export Documentation and Letters of Credit.
If your business has a number of staff you would like trained on a particular element of the international trade process, LCCI can also design a bespoke course.
Enterprise Europe Network Enterprise Europe Network is an EU-funded programme which was launched in 2008. It is one of the world's largest business support networks, bringing together business organisations from over 60 countries and 600 member organisations worldwide to encourage cross-border collaboration. EEN provides London SMEs with free practical advice, assistance and information on European issues. This includes EU legislation and policy, public sector opportunities in Europe and access to business co-operation partners. In the UK, EEN is jointly funded by the European Commission and Innovate UK, helping connect SMEs that want to commercialise ideas and succeed in new markets.

- find business opportunities in Europe: through a Partnership Opportunities Database (POD) we can put you in contact with potential partners from Europe and beyond. This service is ideal if you are looking for distributors, agents, joint venture partners, reciprocal production partners, subcontractors and outsourcing opportunities
- Tender Monitoring Service (TED) of Public Sector Tenders across Europe: which allows you to receive tailored information about different types of tenders published in the Official Journal of the European Union
- promote their innovations across Europe
- take part in a wide variety of business events
- learn how they are affected by EU regulation and guidance
- provide feedback on European legislation to the EU Commission

EU Projects EAGLE ONE and EAGLE TWOThe EAGLE projects aim to enhance co-operation between European trade promotion organisations and the European Commission with the result that there will be an improved trade promotion service available to SMEs. Focusing on trade missions, the project also aims at a greater involvement of SMEs in the internationalisation activities of the European Commission in general.
During 2015 - 2016, the EAGLE project partners from Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania and the UK will organise a series of events/meetings and running joint European company missions to non-EU countries.
