What types of events does LCCI run?
We host more than 200 events a year. Some are industry-specific, some are job-specific, and all include networking. See our events calendar for all the details.
Where are events held?
Our events are held at various venues across London, so you can visit some great locations.
How many people attend the events?
That depends on the event! For instance, more than 120 people attend our bi-monthly ‘Connect at’ networking receptions* and some of our training events are for smaller groups, so you can ask questions specific to your business (*previously named ‘Changing Places’).
Can I bring a non-member guest to events?
You’re welcome to bring non-member guests to some of our free networking events. If your guests wish to attend more than two free events, they’ll need to join LCCI. They can also come to paid events at the non-member rate – if the event is open to non-members.
Bookings, payments, and refunds
How can I stay in the loop about upcoming events?
Simply see our events calendar. We also send a fortnightly e-newsletter to keep you informed. To sign up, email our events team at email@example.com.
How do I pay for an event?
Go to the events calendar, choose the event, and you’ll be redirected to our online payment system. Or complete the form on the back of the event flyer, which you can also download from the calendar. Send us the form with your payment details, or a cheque made payable to London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We don’t provide tax invoices for events under £250.
Do I have to book to attend an event?
Yes, you must book for all free and paid events. We’ll refuse entry if you arrive without a booking.
How do I check that my booking at an event is confirmed?
For ticket fee events, you will receive (via post or email) Joining Instructions and a VAT receipt a few days after booking your place/s. If you do not receive this information please contact the Events team on +44 (0)20 7203 1700 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
For both complimentary and ticket fee events, you should receive a Final Event Details email approximately a week before the event. If you do not receive this information please contact the Events team on +44 (0)20 7203 1700 or email@example.com.
How can I cancel a booking?
You must confirm your cancellation in writing before the date on the booking form. This is usually six weeks before the event. After that, we can’t issue refunds and you’ll be liable for all fees. We also can’t transfer your booking to a future event.
Can a colleague take my place?
Yes, but please let us know in writing so we can update the guest list. If this is done after we’ve printed the list, your name will remain. But we’ll ensure your colleague has their own name badge at the event.
How do I change my details on your mailing list?
Please email your updated details to our events team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I see guest lists before events?
For some events, we’ll send you a ‘final event details’ email. Simply click the link in the email to download a draft guest list. You can also get a printed copy of the guest list at the event.
There’s an event guest I want to meet. Who can introduce me?
Our members are very open to meeting and networking with new people. But if you prefer, someone from our team will be happy to introduce you.
