LCCI Beach Clean 2025
The LCCI Beach Clean is back for 2025!
A small group of LCCI members will gather at HQ for registration, refreshments, and networking before heading to Queenhithe Beach (a 10-minute walk from LCCI). There will be a brief welcome followed by a safety briefing delivered by Recorra. Then begins the task of collecting rubbish for roughly 45-minutes. All necessary equipment will be provided, but participants should wear comfortable clothing including appropriate footwear. The Clean will conclude at 12.00pm, at which point participants will return to LCCI for further refreshments and networking and to collect their belongings.
Help contribute to a healthier planet by donning your trainers and comfy clothing and joining us to clean up Queenhithe Beach!
Places are extremely limited, so please book only if you are certain you can attend and early to avoid disappointment.
LCCI’s Environment, Sustainability and Green Growth (ESGG) Group invites LCCI members to join us on Wednesday 24 September for our 2025 Beach Clean. LCCI’s scheduled Beach Clean coincides with the Great British Beach Clean week.
During the LCCI Beach Clean, we will be running a litter survey in order to record the items of rubbish we collect. This data will help contribute towards the Marine Conservation Society’s campaign for real change.
This event will involve substantial walking over uneven terrain and climbing steep stairs, so please consider if this event is suitable for you when booking your place.
