Property and Construction Club Networking and Briefing with Guest Speaker Steve Eccles, Director, Socius

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Property and Construction Networking Club is a series of briefings designed to help Members connect with senior industry figures, promote their business to a targeted sector and keep up-to-date with trends and developments in a relaxed setting.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments and a light lunch whilst networking with up to 50 professionals from within the industry and other companies interested in the sector.

Guests will then hear from, and have the opportunity to put their questions to, our guest speaker Steve Eccles, Director, Socius – a developer of mixed-use places.

Discussions will likely include: Socius’ vision, current projects, sustainability initiatives, as well as Steve’s thoughts on the current challenges and opportunities affecting the industry.

About Our Speaker:

Steve has spent the past two decades overseeing numerous high-profile projects throughout London and the South-East, including estate regeneration and expansive mixed-use town centre redevelopments.

His projects consistently emphasize placemaking, aiming to ensure long-term success by seamlessly integrating developments into their urban surroundings. Steve is particularly focused on the impact of social value, advocating for its thorough consideration throughout the development process.

He managed the £110 million Edward Street Quarter Development in Brighton and is currently leading a £190 million project in Milton Keynes. Both ventures are set to deliver more than 400,000 sq ft of workspace and over 400 new homes, further illustrating his expertise in fostering impactful urban growth.
