Transport and Infrastructure

LCCI has a rich history of calling for and supporting the development of London’s Transport and Infrastructure to support the greater good of both the London and national economy. Our work includes pressing for London’s development as a leading world city in sustainable transport and planning. According to Transport for London, TfL are expected to generate £9.1 billion in revenue across the next financial year (2023/24), whilst providing 25,000 jobs in London.

As London’s key hub for the business community, membership offers a variety of opportunities to network and raise your business’ profile. Our members in the transport industry include household names Gatwick, Stansted, DP World, Thames Freeport, Heathrow amongst others.

A green and global city like London cannot thrive in poor air quality. LCCI has always supported initiatives that boost trade and tourism in London while recognising the need to remain sustainable. In the light of this latest decision, we will work closely with the Mayor of London to ensure an effective ULEZ expansion whilst ensuring businesses continue to remain efficient and profitable.
