Business Crime

According to the Metropolitan Police, over 450,000 incidents of London-based business crime were reported in 2024. However, with many offences going unreported, the actual total is likely a lot higher. More needs to be done to support London’s business community to become more resilient to crime. LCCI is steadfast in its support of businesses, and in order to address the challenges that crime poses, we formed our Business Crime Group.

The Business Crime Group is here to help you prevent, mitigate, respond to, and report business crime. On the dedicated hub, you’ll find the latest articles and resources to protect your business, as well as our upcoming events and committee news.

The primary objective of the Business Crime Committee is to help London’s business community become more resilient to crime, while ensuring that private and public sector stakeholders take action to tackle business crime across the capital. We regularly run events with industry experts to keep our members up to date with the latest measures to protect their business from attacks. Events include discussions, briefings, and private lunches.
