A free, annual event organised by City Lit’s Centre for Deaf Education. Celebrating Deaf culture with a variety of workshops, taster sessions, and an array of exhibitors. This flagship annual event is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends, build new networks, promote your organisation, and explore something new and exciting. Deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing individuals are all welcome to come to Central London to join in on the celebration.

This is an introduction to Exporting and the practical considerations needed. The course covers the requirements of sales and purchase orders, an introduction to Incoterms®, packaging considerations, general compliance issues and commodity codes.The importance of export documentation is explained, along with sources of help and guidance.

2026 is the year when ATA Carnets will join the digital era, going from their paper versions to the new eATA digital platform. 

The eATA Carnet project aims to digitalise ATA Carnets and their lifecycle management process, from issuance and declarations to transactions and claims.

The eATA global transition will kick-off on 1 June 2026 starting with the EU, Norway, Switzerland and the UK. 

This session is helpful for individuals and organisations who are already applying for and or using ATA Carnets to export their goods temporarily out of the UK.

The UK will turn the switch on for digital Carnets on 1 June 2026. All Carnet users travelling to and from the UK, as well as the EU, Norway and Switzerland will need to have digital Carnet issued to visit this countries, and have the paper Carnet issued too if they are travelling to any other destinations.
