London Tomorrow

London Tomorrow: Towards the Megacity is an ongoing thought leadership initiative by LCCI in association with PwC and supported by London City Airport

The initiative provides a platform for London’s leading thinkers and businesses to look at challenges and opportunities arising from London's growing population. This comes as the number of people living in the capital has reached its highest level since 1939 (8.9m), while the city is expected to reach ‘megacity’ status with over ten million inhabitants in less than a decade.

London Tomorrow: Towards the Megacity will see a range of public and private discussion platforms in 2018 and 2019 culminating in a public debate on the prospects of ‘London Tomorrow’ on the eve of Brexit. Leading UK polling agency, Savanta ComRes has been commissioned to survey public, business and civic leader opinion to inform the discussion, ahead of each event.

Following each event, a summary document will be published on this page.

In association with:                   Supported by:

London Tomorrow: Towards the Megacity is the second wave of the platform, and builds on the success of the 2015-2016 London Tomorrow: Shaping Future Cities initiative.
