LCCI Prestige Reception: A Night at the British Museum

On Tuesday 21 May 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting members at the LCCI Prestige Reception: A Night at The British Museum.

British Museum Prestige Networking Reception

The networking reception took place in the magnificent Egyptian sculpture gallery, where guests were transported back through 3,000 years of Egyptian history. The event also included an exclusive private viewing of Michelangelo: the last decades – an extraordinary exhibition which looks at the last 30 years of Michelangelo's remarkable life, when his return to Rome – having been summoned by Pope Clement VII to paint a fresco of the Last Judgment in the Sistine Chapel – brought him new commissions and reunited him with some of his closest friends.

British Museum Event

Thank you to our host for the evening, LCCI CEO Karim Fatehi MBE , and our excellent guest speakers Amy Lame , Night Czar Greater London Authority and Sarah Vowles , Smirnov Family Curator of Italian & French Prints & Drawings. London as a 24-hour economy, the capital’s world-renowned cultural and hospitality offering and entrepreneurship were key themes of the evening, highlighting the crucial link between business and the arts.

British Museum Event

The British Museum are kindly offering LCCI Members the opportunity to view the Michelangelo: the last decades exhibition for free until 28 July 2024. Take advantage of this fantastic offer.
