Share your views on the proposed Cyber Governance Code of Practice

UK government has launched a call for views in relation to a draft Code of Practice on cyber security governance, the objective of which is to help improve cyber resilience across the UK economy and ensure businesses have the tools and support to protect themselves against cyber threats.

Cyber security

The proposed Code, designed in partnership with industry directors, cyber and governance experts and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), is presented in a simple form and is relevant to organisations of all sizes – please see the full press notice and, to share your views on this, please complete the online survey by Tuesday 19 March 2024.

A sizeable step that businesses can take in the battle against cyber attacks is to obtain Cyber Essentials certification. Indeed, new analysis of the Cyber Security Breaches Survey shows that around two thirds (66%) of businesses, which adhere to Cyber Essentials, have a formal cyber incident response plan, compared to just 18% of those who don’t follow its guidance.

LCCI members can take advantage of a £150 discount on Cyber Essentials certification via The Cyber Resilience Centre for London’s Cyber Essentials Partners. Please see further information regarding this exclusive offer.
