UK-US Trade Deal: Tarff Reductions on Car and Aerospace Exports Now in Effect

Tariff reductions on UK car and aerospace exports to the US are now in effect – a key early success under the UK–US trade agreement.

The London Chamber welcomes this step, which protects high-value jobs and boosts globally competitive industries across the capital. But barriers remain. With nearly 3 in 10 London firms experiencing disruption from US trade restrictions, we urge both governments to maintain momentum towards a broader deal – one that could provide long-term certainty for all sectors.
