Friday 6 October 2023

The City of London Chamber (CoL) hosted with the City of London Corporation and Small Business Research and Enterprise Centre a Public Procurement: Meet the Buyer event on 21 September at 80 Basinghall Street. The aim of this event was to inform SMEs on how government procurement works and to establish meaningful connections with influential buyers.

Several talks were delivered on how to plan and write a successful proposal and how to gain a competitive edge through environment social governance and sustainably. Additional information and support were also provided during a short closing talk by the Small Business Research and Enterprise Centre.

Throughout the event short breaks allowed the guests to network and compare their thoughts on the talks they had just taken part in.

The event achieved exactly what it had set out to do by giving important and clear information to the audience who left the venue with a new set knowledge to grow their businesses.
