Help for Households campaign must account for needs of SMEs

Richard Burge, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), said:

“We welcome the introduction of the Help for Households campaign which will help to support those most affected by the cost of living crisis. We encourage businesses to support where they can to help relieve at least some of the pressures on families and individuals. As these plans develop, we are confident the government will take into account the needs of SMEs, the lifeblood of our economy, who are not immune to the weight of rising costs. LCCI is committed to working with the cost-of-living tsar David Buttress to champion and support London businesses through these most uncertain times.”
