LCCI respond to Union Connectivity Review

LCCI have today commented on recognition in the interim Union Connectivity Review that London's global connectivity is key to the economic prosperity of regions across the UK.

Richard Burge, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “Today’s interim Union Connectivity Report further highlights the importance of London’s global connectivity to the economic prosperity of UK regions, and the potential to unlock even more visitor and trade benefit around the Union. This will only be done by fully supporting the aviation sector’s survival now however, so it is vital that London and national government throw their full support behind the sustainable recovery of the aviation sector, whilst also working with the industry on progress towards net-zero.”
