LCCI Supports Business Coalition Speaking Out Against Antisemitism

Friday 15 May 2026

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) stands alongside the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and business organisations across the UK in condemning antisemitism in all its forms.

There is no place for antisemitism in Britain, including in our workplaces, business communities or wider society. At a time when antisemitic incidents continue to rise, including here in London, it is vital that businesses help foster environments where everyone feels safe, respected and supported.

LCCI supports the commitments set out in the joint open letter coordinated by the BCC and CBI, including speaking out against antisemitism, taking a zero-tolerance approach to incidents in the workplace, improving understanding through education and training, and supporting Jewish colleagues.

Businesses have an important role to play in fostering safe, inclusive and respectful environments for everyone. No employee should feel unsafe, marginalised or unsupported because of their faith or identity.

London’s diversity is one of its greatest strengths and the capital’s business community has a responsibility to uphold the values of inclusion, respect and opportunity for all. Clear leadership on issues such as antisemitism helps ensure that businesses remain places where everyone can contribute, thrive and feel safe.

LCCI will continue working with businesses, partners and the wider Chamber network to support inclusive workplaces and reinforce the principle that racism in any form has no place in our society.
