LCCI welcome easing of international travel restrictions

Responding to the Transport Secretary announcing the easing of restrictions for amber list countries from July 19, Richard Burge, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said:

"This is welcome news for the aviation and travel sector, along with the many businesses across London that rely on international travel to do business.

"The UK’s, particularly London’s, economic recovery also depends on the return of international visitor spend. It’s vital that the government and the aviation sector now swiftly work together to install systems that allow for the safe return of inbound international tourism and business travel."
