LCCI Welcomes Court of Appeal Decision on Gatwick Northern Runway

"Today's Court of Appeal decision provides long-awaited certainty for a nationally significant infrastructure project, clearing the way for vital investment which will strengthen London's future and the UK's economic future.

London Gatwick's Northern Runway Project will create thousands of jobs and deliver substantial economic benefits for the capital and the wider UK economy, funded through private investment at no cost to the taxpayer.

We congratulate London Gatwick on reaching this important milestone and look forward to seeing the project move into the delivery phase. Continued investment in aviation infrastructure is essential if London and the UK are to remain globally competitive and unlock the long-term growth that businesses need."
