LCCI welcomes the National Policy Statement on Heathrow

Welcoming the publication of the government's long awaited National Policy Statement on Heathrow's third runway, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce, Colin Stanbridge said: "This publication is a welcome step in moving towards the much needed third runway at Heathrow through which we finally have the chance to act to future-proof the UK economy.

"Now we need to commence construction work as soon as practical to maximise the benefits to London and the wider UK."
