London Chamber of Commerce welcomes Government customs Position Paper

Commenting on today's Government position paper on plans to continue Britain's current customs arrangements for several years after Brexit, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Colin Stanbridge said: "Today's further clarity of Brexit custom's arrangements is a helpful step for London businesses.

"Our members have said that one of their main worries is of a cliff edge when Brexit takes place and these arrangements appear to go somewhere to mitigate that. This is an urgent issue and a pragmatic transition is vital."
