Sir Alok Sharma called for action against climate change

The City of London Chamber (CoL) hosted a successful Winter Reception at the City of London Club on 14 September.

The reception was a well-received networking event which focused on Net Zero and climate change. This being the theme, the two key speakers were Sir Alok Sharma, President for COP26, and Policy Chairman Chris Hayward.

The impactful speeches delivered by the speakers resonated profoundly with members of the Chamber, friends of CoL, and members of the City of London Club creating interesting discussions while networking.

The event was a great achievement for CoL under all aspects and was praised by many, Policy Chairman Chirs Hayward included, who sent a letter to Alderman Prem Goyal OBE, founding chair of CoL, congratulating the whole team.
