The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Property and Construction Networking Club is a series of briefings designed to help Members connect with senior industry figures, promote their business to a targeted sector and keep up-to-date with trends and developments in a relaxed setting.

Attendees will enjoy refreshments and a light lunch whilst networking with up to 60 professionals from within the industry and other companies interested in the sector.

About Our Speaker

Shravan Joshi MBE, Chairman of Planning and Transportation, City of London Corporation

Having started his career in investment banking, Shravan then moved into the energy sector in 1999. He specialised in trade structuring and supply chain contracts into Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Far East and North America. Between 2008 and 2011, Shravan and his family were based in the United Arab Emirates. Since his return to London, Shravan has worked with several new energy technology companies, advising and consulting on commercialisation of new innovations and solutions.

Shravan is Chair of City of London Corporation’s Planning and Transportation Committee. The Committee ensures that the City and its residents and workers enjoy well planned buildings, safe, clean streets and a good public transport system. The City's pre-eminence as a world financial centre has a strong influence on the work of this Committee.

The Connected, Liveable London Programme and Committee seeks to provide thought leadership and positively influence stakeholders on the need for more connected and coordinated planning and transport systems necessary for the future development of London. Its work includes pressing for London’s development as a leading world city in sustainable transport, construction and planning.
