LCCI welcomes UK-U.S. dialogue on the future of Atlantic trade

Thursday 28 April 2022

Richard Burge, Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), said:

“SMEs have long struggled to access the practical expertise and guidance they need to boost their overseas exports and we are delighted to see governments on both sides of the Atlantic encouraging the growth and trade capabilities of these small but mighty businesses. SMEs are the lifeblood of London’s economy and have a pivotal role to play in maintaining our capital city’s reputation, both at home and abroad, as a powerhouse of business, trade and investment.

"It is imperative that we support, encourage and champion SMEs to ensure they continue to thrive in London and beyond. At LCCI we will continue to advise, encourage and support businesses in their ambitions to trade internationally and we very much look forward to engaging with the Government in its endeavour to support and enhance UK-U.S. SME trade.”
