Property and Construction Private Roundtable

In September, Patrick Angell, LCCI Business Development Director, hosted a Property and Construction roundtable with senior leaders from our membership to gather industry insight ahead of LCCI's Budget submission and response to the London Plan consultation.

The discussion explored some of the most significant challenges and opportunities facing the sector, including London’s national role and positioning, the planning system, development visibility, investor confidence, AI in planning and energy infrastructure. Attendees also examined infrastructure and funding mechanism, property taxation, housing affordability, attitudes to homeownership, wage growth and the importance of regulatory certainty.

The roundtable provided valuable perspectives that will help shape our policy recommendations and ensure the voice of London's business community is reflected in key consultations. Thank you to all those who joined us for such a constructive discussion.
