LCCI City of London Association Summer Reception

Guest Speaker: Alderwoman Dame Sue Langley DBE, Lady Mayor of the City of London

Summer Networking
Join around 80-100 London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Members, City of London Association Committee Members and selected guests for summer networking in the heart of the City. Our venue – Haberdashers' Hall is a modern architect-designed building inspired by renaissance courtyards and cloisters. The event will be held in the stunning Courtyard and adjoining Orangery – perfect for summer networking! Drinks and a selection of delicious canapés will be served during the reception. This networking event is targeted at businesses situated in the Square Mile or who do business in the City. It will provide an excellent opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded professionals.

Hear from the Lady Mayor of the City of London
We are delighted that Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley, the 697th Lord Mayor of the City of London, will be our guest speaker. Alderwoman Langley is the third woman to hold the office, and the first to be styled “Lady Mayor”. During her year as Lady Mayor, Alderwoman Langley will act as a spokesperson for the City, leading overseas business delegations to key international markets on behalf of the UK financial and professional services industry. In the role she will meet government representatives, alongside business leaders and policy makers both at home and abroad. She will look to strengthen economic ties with the UK, identify new business opportunities and promote the UK as a top global destination for foreign investment.
